Rs8.6trn charged expenditure presented in NANAVEED BUTT
ISLAMABAD: The government on Wednesday presented in the National Assembly Rs 8.6 trillion charged expenditure included in demands for grants and appropriations for the financial year ending June 30, 2013.
There is Rs 7.31 trillion repayment of domestic debt, Rs 215.96 billion foreign loans repayment, Rs 845.6 billion for servicing of domestic debt, Rs 36 billion repayment of short term foreign credits, Rs 58.792 billion for external development loans and advances by the federal government and Rs 80.175 billion servicing of foreign debt.
Similarly, the government also presented Rs 11 billion for grants-in-aid and miscellaneous adjustments between the federal and provincial governments, Rs 2.55 billion superannuation allowances and pensions and Rs 2.8 billion for audit.
There is also Rs 1.038 billion for Supreme Court, Rs 355.141 million for Islamabad High Court, Rs 353.94 million other expenditure of Foreign Affairs Division, Rs 13.951 million Civil Works, Rs 952.817 million for National Assembly, Rs 692.36 million for Senate, Rs 150 million Pakistan Post Office department and Rs 616.708 million for staff, household and allowances of the President.
The government also presented Rs 3.324 billion charge expenditure of Pakistan Railways, Rs 1.572 billion for election, Rs 299.544 million for Wafaqi Mohtasib and Rs 100.56 million of Federal Tax Ombudsman.
